Little Boynes Holiday Cottages

Sympathetically converted from former outbuildings of "The Boynes" country estate in an environmentally friendly, sustainable way The Orangery and The Byre offer visitors relaxed and quiet accomodation in one of the country's most beautiful areas. A few miles to the west are the Malvern Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. To the east is the Severn valley with its unique collection of traditional riverside towns and villages the closest of which, Upton-upon-Severn, is renowned for its unspoilt charm and for the festivals that take place there throughout the year.

Staying at Little Boynes offers the opportunity to explore and enjoy the beauty and variety of the local area. The Malvern Hills are within easy reach and closer still are many walks and several nature reserves. Within the area there are many National Trust and English Heritage properties and a wide variety of gardens open to the public.

Numerous leisure activities are available in the local area, including: walking, cycling, golf, shooting, tennis, squash, fishing, horse riding, boating and off-road driving. The Arts are just as well catered for, with theatres, galleries, craft workshops and cinemas all within easy reach.

Close by is the Three Counties Showground, home to the Royal Horticultural Society's Spring Garden Show, which holds various shows weekly throughout the year. Less than two miles away is the delightful historic town of Upton-upon-Severn, with a thriving marina and many pubs and restaurants.

Chris and Sheila aim to make your stay here as enjoyable as possible with a personal welcome and a refreshment tray to help create a relaxing start to your holiday.

At Little Boynes we are striving to make both of our cottages as environmentally sustainable as possible. Most rubbish is re-cycled; waste water and sewage is disposed of via an on-site reed bed treatment system; re-cycled rain water is used for lavatories and the garden; low energy/voltage lighting is used throughout; low water/energy shower systems and a heat recovery system for the swimming pool complex. All this combined with insulation exceeding the current UK requirements means that your "carbon footprint" whilst enjoying a holiday at Little Boynes is kept to an absolute minimum.
See our Environmental page for full details.
